Fisheries Independent Monitoring Internship with FWC

seine netThe Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission has an internship opportunity available in the FWC Apalachicola Bay Lab for the 2019 fall semester. We are looking for a current student or recent graduate with a strong work ethic and interest in fisheries science. The candidate selected for this position will have the opportunity to work alongside FWC biologist conducting fisheries-independent surveys in Apalachicola Bay. This is an unpaid internship, but offers a tremendous amount of hands on experience. Current students can work with their advisors and with FWC to gain research credit through development of a small project. Free housing is available. A link with more details is below.
