Whether you are coming for a tour, a day, or a week, the laboratory welcomes visitors of all kinds -- from the curious drop-in to investigators and educational groups from down the road or across the globe. No matter the reason for your visit, we have excellent resources available in a nearly pristine environment embedded in a hot spot of biological diversity. Free tours occur on Fridays 11-4 pm and generally last 1-2 hours.  Weather permitting.   We look forward to seeing you!

How to get here

From Tallahassee

  1. From the Florida State Capitol Bldg., go SOUTH on US27 for 2.8 miles
  2. Turn RIGHT on Gaile Avenue for 0.1 mile
  3. Turn LEFT on Crawfordville Highway (US319) for 22 miles
  4. Turn RIGHT on US98/US319 S for 20.1 miles
  5. The Marine Lab will be on your left

From Carrabelle

  1. Go EAST on US-98 for 10.1 miles
  2. Turn RIGHT at the fork, continuing on US-98
  3. Go 1/4 mile; the Marine Lab will be on your right

From Perry

  1. Go West from Perry on US98 for about 71.5 miles
  2. The Marine Lab will be on your left
