Curriculum vitae

Research and Professional Interests

My research focuses on understanding the ecological structure and function of estuarine and marine environments. I am specifically interested in the direct and indirect effects of anthropogenic stressors, such as eutrophication, habitat alteration, and tropicalization, on ecological communities.

My previous and on-going research projects focus on the habitat associations of benthic communities with multiple co-occurring foundation species, the impacts of expanding tropical herbivores on local seagrasses and fishes, and the role of seagrass and macroalgae detritus in supporting benthic fauna.
