Acceptance into the program is determined by a subcommittee of the Diving Control Board, based in part on the candidate’s responses to the following questions. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

Biographical Information
Open Water Certification is a mandatory prerequisite.
Preference will be given to faculty, staff and graduate students
Letter of Recommendation
Please submit letters of recommendation to fsucml-dso@fsu.edu. Staff letters of support should come from the supervisor; student letters of support should come from a student’s advisor, or major professor, although other recommendations are acceptable. All letters of support should be submitted by the application deadline. The ideal recommendation will identify how the applicant will use diving to enable research at FSU.
