Courses and Workshops
The Academic Diving Program conducts dive-related workshops and classes for FSU faculty, staff, and students as well as for researchers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and Florida's Bureau of Archaeological Research.
The most intensive class is the Introduction To Scientific Diving credit course in which participants are trained as Scientific Divers in accordance with the standards of the American Academy of Underwater Sciences. Other workshops include Hazmat, Emergency First Response, and Enriched Air Diving.
