Diving Workshops

The FSU Diving Program conducts dive-related workshops for FSU faculty, staff, and students as well as for researchers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission, the Florida Department of State's Archeology Division, the National Parks Service, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

The most in-depth workshop is the Introduction To Scientific Diving Workshop in which successful participants become certified as American Academy of Underwater Sciences divers.  Other workshops of interest include Hazmat, Emergency First Responder, Nitrox, and Rescue Diving.

For questions regarding workshop content and scheduling, contact fsucml-dso@fsu.edu or call (850) 697-2078.  Workshop fees can be paid by credit card or check. FSU principal investigators can charge to their grants. Full payment is required one week prior to the first day of the course. Cancellations made within 48 hours of course date are subject to a 20% fee.
